Carl Dudley Hulsey, age 90, of Decatur, GA passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010. He was the Patriarch of two families. The Hulsey’s were from Atlanta and Rockmart and His deceased wife Amelia (Penny) Drummond’s family was from Atlanta and Thomaston. He is survived by his only son Carl Hulsey, II; three daughters, Elaine Pritchett, Becki Morgan and Terri Harris, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Mr. Hulsey was employed with Lockheed from 1951 until 1985. He attended Tech High School, Georgia Tech, and was a WWII and Korean Veteran. He was a former member of The Baptist Tabernacle and Avondale First Baptist Church. He and his wife volunteered for many years at the Baptist Mission in the Techwood Community. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel (770) 469-9811. Express and view condolences and www.wagesandsons.com.
